If you have to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we’ll need 24 hours’ advance notice. This allows me to fill the spot with someone else who is waiting.

If you do not call within 24 hours before your appointment or do not show up, you will be charged a $100 no-show/late cancellation fee. This fee might be waived in case of emergency or illness.

Intensives are innovative and growing in popularity among trauma therapists for a good reason. A large, well-designed randomized study found that an intensive 1-week course of evidence-based PTSD therapy had the same outcome as delivery of the same treatment over several months; except that the results were achieved much more quickly in the intensive format (Ehlers et al, 2014). EMDR Intensives can be safe and effective for those with Complex PTSD (Bongaerts et al, 2017) and Research shows that EMDR was well-tolerated with patients with PTSD and contributed to a significant reduction of symptoms after intensive therapy (Zepeda Méndez, Mayaris et al, 2018).

The cost on an EMDR Intensive is more upfront but significantly less overall than committing to weekly therapy, where trauma reprocessing can be limited due to time spent discussing your day to day life and managing crises. All intensives include the Pre-Intensive Interview, Personalized Client Workbook, Intensive Therapy, and a Post-Intensive Interview. A standard full one day Intensive is $2100. A half day Intensive is $1200. My hourly fee is $260. Intensive length/days are customizable for each client. Financing options available through Care Credit.
